Welcome to the Lotus Weight Loss Clinic Affiliate Marketing & Responsible Advertising Policy.
This policy outlines the rules, responsibilities, and expectations for individuals and organisations participating in the Lotus Health Co. Ltd affiliate program. Our aim is to ensure that all marketing and promotional activities conducted on our behalf are safe, ethical, compliant with UK law, and aligned with the values of our regulated healthcare business.
We are a CQC-registered weight loss clinic (CQC No. 1-21252840589), offering medically supervised weight loss treatments through a fully digital prescribing model. All prescriptions are reviewed by qualified clinicians and dispensed by our regulated partner pharmacy Cloud RX (GPhC No. 9011284).
Because we provide Prescription Only Medicines (POMs) such as weight loss injections, we are governed by strict legal and ethical obligations under the MHRA, CQC, GPhC, and Advertising Standards Authority (ASA). Promoting our clinic responsibly helps us maintain public trust, protect patient safety, and continue to offer accessible, affordable weight loss services across the UK.

Our affiliate program is designed to reward you fairly for helping to grow the Lotus Weight Loss Clinic community with responsible, value-driven promotion. The system is simple, transparent, and backed by our secure affiliate tracking platform.
How You Earn
Affiliates will earn £10 on the first approved order placed by a new customer who uses their unique affiliate code at checkout.
A “new customer” is defined as an individual who has never previously completed an order through lotusweightloss.co.uk.
The commission excludes VAT, refunds, or cancellations.
Approved orders are those that pass our clinical assessment by a prescribing clinician and result in a prescription being issued.
Customer Benefit
To help you convert more referrals, every customer who uses your code will receive a £20 discount on their first order. This not only boosts engagement but supports our mission to make medical weight loss more affordable and accessible.
Payout Schedule
Affiliate commissions are calculated and finalised at the end of each calendar month.
We aim to issue all payouts as soon as possible and within 14 days of the month end.
Payouts are made via bank transfer or another reasonable method. You may be asked to confirm your payment details before your first payout is processed.
🔒 We only pay out on orders that have been clinically approved. Cancelled or refunded transactions are excluded.
Banking
Once you have registered your affiliate account with us you will be able to log in to your affiliate portal, where you will be able to add in your bank account details, which will be used to pay you at the end of every month.
This is a self-billing agreement. Lotus Health Co. Ltd will issue self-billed invoices to you (the affiliate) based on the number of valid coupon redemptions at the rate of £10 per redemption. The affiliate agrees not to issue separate invoices for these transactions. This agreement will remain in effect until terminated by either party. You confirm you have the right to work in the UK. It is the responsibility of the affiliate to report and pay any applicable income tax or National Insurance contributions to HMRC in respect of payments received under this agreement.
Your unique affiliate code is a powerful tool for growing the Lotus Weight Loss Clinic community — but it must be used responsibly and in line with healthcare advertising laws.
Selecting Your Unique Affiliate Code
When you register for your affiliate account you will be asked to enter an affiliate code into the form. Please choose something such as your name, initials or a relevant word, ideally followed by a number (such as ’20’ for £20 off). e.g. JANE20. Please DO NOT use drug names such as Mounjaro or Wegovy etc as part of the code. If your code is not suitable we will contact you and arrange one we are both happy with.
Requesting a New Code

Where & How You Can Share Your Code
You may share your affiliate code in the following ways:
-On personal websites, blogs, or YouTube channels
-Through social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.
-In private groups or communities (e.g., Facebook support groups) where content is compliant.
-In direct, one-to-one conversations with friends, family, or followers.
You must not share your code in:
Paid search ads (Google Ads, Bing) unless pre-approved
Spammy comment sections or reviews
Sites promoting illegal or inappropriate content (e.g., adult, gambling, or unregulated health forums)
Honesty is Everything
Please don’t:
Pretend to be a clinician or Lotus staff member
Offer your own giveaways or cash incentives in exchange for signups
Re-sell medications or “guarantee” results

Each affiliate is assigned a unique discount code (e.g. LOTUSJOE). This is how we track which customers came through your content.
-Customers must use the code at checkout
-Codes cannot be combined with other promotions or voucher codes
-We will only honour commissions on orders placed using valid, authorised affiliate codes
-Any attempt to manipulate tracking (e.g. coupon stacking, impersonation, cloned codes) is grounds for removal
Tracking, Reporting & Payments
At the end of each calendar month, our system generates a report showing all approved orders and eligible commissions.
Payments are then processed within 14 days.
You will receive an email confirmation with a breakdown of your activity and payment amount once it’s been issued.
You may also log into your affiliate account portal to track your numbers and view your earnings whenever you like.

As a CQC-registered provider of Prescription Only Medicines (POMs), Lotus Weight Loss Clinic must operate under strict UK regulations set by the MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency), ASA (Advertising Standards Authority), and the GPhC (General Pharmaceutical Council).
These rules apply to anyone promoting our services — including affiliates.

To protect both our patients and your role as an affiliate, you must not include certain terms or content in any public-facing promotion.

DON’Ts – What You CANNOT Say
🚫 Don’t mention medications by brand or generic name, including:
Wegovy
Mounjaro
Ozempic
Semaglutide / Tirzepatide
Visual & Social Media Rules
Do not post before-and-after images unless they are Lotus-approved and include proper context.
No use of “prescription” in hashtags or captions
Do not include unverified testimonials, medical advice, or misleading transformations
Always include a clear disclaimer and a call to action like:
“All treatments require clinical approval by a qualified prescriber.”
Breaches & Consequences
If you breach these regulations (even unintentionally), you may:
Forfeit any commission earned on non-compliant activity
Be removed from the affiliate program
Be subject to further action if violations are serious or repeated
Lotus also reserves the right to report serious advertising breaches to the relevant regulatory body (MHRA, ASA, GPhC), where required by law.

🚫 Not Allowed:
Before/after photos without written consent & approval
Any images of you or others administering injections
When in doubt, less is more. Keep it tasteful, uplifting, and focused on the overall service.
Use of Logos & Brand Assets
In your affiliate account under ‘Creatives’ you can download official Lotus logos, banners, and visuals to use in your content. These must:
Remain unchanged and unedited at their core
Be used only in content promoting Lotus Weight Loss Clinic
Not appear alongside non-compliant or unrelated products
Content Approval & Feedback
If you’re planning a high-visibility post or campaign and want peace of mind, we’re happy to review content in advance. Just send us a preview (screenshot or draft link) and we’ll give feedback within 24–48 hours.
We want the Lotus Affiliate Program to be rewarding, supportive, and fair. To keep things running smoothly for everyone involved, the following rules apply to program entry, continued participation, and how we handle any disputes.
Who Can Join
You’re eligible to become an affiliate if you:
Are 18 years or older
Reside and have the right to work in the UK
Own a public-facing blog, channel, platform, or personal network that aligns with our brand values
Agree to abide by all applicable laws, as well as this Affiliate Policy
We welcome:
Health & wellness influencers
Body positivity advocates
Fitness coaches and trainers
Weight loss journey accounts
Healthcare professionals (as long as guidelines are followed)
Note: If you are a clinician or registered healthcare professional, you must not provide any prescribing guidance or clinical advice via your content, as this may be considered a regulatory breach.
Grounds for Disqualification
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your affiliate account at any time, without prior notice, if you:
Share misleading or illegal content
Promote non-compliant content
Use unauthorised discount codes or falsely advertise your commission
Are found to be spamming or abusing referral loopholes
Make false medical claims, impersonate a clinician, or guarantee results
Violate any MHRA, ASA, or GPhC rules governing the advertising of weight loss treatments
Are flagged repeatedly for non-compliance after warnings
Affiliates removed from the program for serious or repeated breaches will forfeit any unpaid commissions.
Inactive Affiliates
Affiliates who do not generate any activity (clicks, leads, or conversions) over a 60-day period may be marked as inactive. We may deactivate or pause these accounts, but you are welcome to reapply when you’re ready to re-engage.
Dispute Resolution
We’re committed to fairness. If there’s ever a disagreement about:

We’ll review your case within 10 working days and aim to resolve it quickly, clearly, and fairly. All decisions will be made in line with our clinical and compliance obligations.
We want our affiliate program to evolve responsibly and stay in step with UK regulations. This means occasionally updating our terms, tools, and processes. Here’s how we’ll keep you informed and what’s expected of you:
Policy Updates & Change Notices
We will provide a minimum of 7 days’ notice before making any material changes to this Affiliate Marketing & Advertising Policy or our platform functionality.
Notices will be sent via the email you registered with and/or posted in your affiliate dashboard.
Continuing to use your code or dashboard after an update means you accept the revised terms.
We encourage you to review your email and dashboard regularly to stay informed and compliant.
Site Downtime or Scheduled Maintenance
If we plan to take the website offline for any significant maintenance that could affect your link tracking or order flows:
We’ll give at least 7 days’ notice whenever possible
Any outages that affect tracking will be communicated with clear guidance on how we’ll account for it in commission calculations
External Platform Terms
While we host our affiliate system through WordPress and SliceWP, some elements (like social sharing, payment processing, and email communication) may involve third-party tools or platforms.
By participating, you also agree to follow the relevant third-party terms of service, such as for the social media platform you will be using and abiding by their community standards
Final Disclaimer
Participation in the Lotus Weight Loss Clinic affiliate program does not imply any employment, agency, or clinical relationship with Lotus Health Co. Ltd or its staff.
Affiliates may not:
-Represent themselves as part of the clinical team
-Offer any medical advice or consultation
-Impersonate a healthcare provider
-All medical decisions, prescriptions, and clinical guidance are carried out solely by our regulated and registered healthcare professionals in accordance with UK law.
